It’s a grave contemplation, but in the relative infancy of social media networks, most of us have been spared the sad, and difficult experience of a Facebook or Twitter friend passing away. And as such, we probably don’t yet fully understand what social media will be like when it’s a place of the living and the dead. Sorry. You don’t need this on a Monday morning, do you.
But check this out. DeadSocial think they’ve found a way of breathing new life to the departed. It’s slightly macabre, and pretty spooky: they want us mortals to register, and then schedule messages and posts via social networks to appear after we’ve died… and for years to come! They see a world where we posthumously message relatives, and send the odd joke to our widow/er…! [Watch]!
