The Digerati is The Drum’s annual celebration of the 100 most influential people across the UK’s digital media and marketing industries. Now in its fifth year, at a time when digital is more important, this year’s list received hundreds of entries.
This year’s Tech Nation report revealed that the UK’s digital economy is growing at twice the rate of the country’s wider economy – bringing in a staggering £97bn each year. This rapid pace of growth is no different within the digital advertising industry. As reported earlier this year, digital ad spend is on the up and better, driven by mobile. It is anticipated that by 2019, advertisers will be spending more on mobile than all traditional media (excluding TV) put together.
Eleven years ago, James made the bold move to set up his own mobile agency, at a time when most marketers were focused on traditional channels. His steadfast belief in mobile and visionary approach has seen James grow our agency into the world’s foremost mobile-first agencies, employing 180 people across 10 offices.
