What you will be responsible for :

  • Seller Acquisition and Management:
  • Collaborate with sellers from the US, UK, and South Asian countries who align with our marketplace’s strategy and target audience.
  • Conduct thorough onboarding processes for new sellers, providing them with the tools, training, and support to launch and manage their online stores successfully.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing sellers, addressing their needs and concerns proactively.
  • Provide strategic guidance and recommendations to sellers on product listing optimization, pricing strategies, marketing campaigns, and customer service best practices.
  • Marketplace Growth:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, product, operations) to develop and implement growth strategies for the US, UK, and South Asian markets.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for expansion and differentiation.
  • Conduct market research and gather insights to understand the preferences and needs of buyers in each region.
  • Performance Analysis and Optimization:
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for sellers and the overall marketplace, including sales volume, customer satisfaction, and seller engagement.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement targeted optimization strategies to enhance seller performance and drive marketplace growth.
  • Customer Service and Support:
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to both sellers and buyers, resolving inquiries and issues promptly and effectively.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative environment that encourages seller success and buyer satisfaction.

What are the requirements of the role :

  • Experience: 5-8 years of experience in account management or a related field within the e-commerce industry, preferably with experience in managing marketplaces in the US, UK, and South Asian countries.
  • Skills:
  • Proven track record of successfully acquiring, developing, and managing seller relationships.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce marketplaces, online selling strategies, and digital marketing techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and identify actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in using e-commerce platforms and tools.
  • Fluency in English, with additional proficiency in languages spoken in the US, UK, and South Asian countries being a plus.
