The meteoric rise of Pinterest has this week seen it declared as the 3rd largest social network in the USA. To put that in perspective, that means it’s more popular than LinkedIn, and Google+. Barack Obama now has a pinboard. [Look]. It’s so hot right now.
How important is Pinterest? Really quite. According to this latest survey, a massive 21% of users have gone on to buy something they’ve seen on the site. That’s compelling. So when new analytics tool Pinerly was launched in very limited beta this week, we thought we’d get in touch, for a preview. Pinerly is also important. It brings the potential for deeper analysis of Pinterest Boards including repins and likes, but most importantly, it measures click-throughs on content.
